About Me

This is me, The Rat...partner since 2001 to Concrete_Man, mum to Rat_Girl (born 13.12.05) and Rat_Boy (born 14.05.09). Co-inhabiting our nest are 2 rather large fury 4 legged rats, Boxer_Dog and Black_Dog. We run a business from the nest with Concrete_Man doing the manly physical work while I stay at home and do the 'other' stuff. This means we are often busy, often stressed and often very tired...but then again who isn't! Anyway that's enough for now. As time goes by you will learn a bit more about the family that is "MummaRat's Nest"

Weekend Craftiness

A jewelry hanger made by Rat_girl and I


I'd been painting a couple of my projects and she was bugging me because she wanted to paint.  I was originally going to just give her the egg cartons to paint and be done with it.

Then decided on helping her make a pin board....which then ended up a jewelry hanger.

Now I would like one for me, but I think I'll make mine from corkboard or something.

    Wow. Rat-girl has lots of jewellery. Miss Four is missing out! We made muffins today.

    Have you seen the western star promotion at the moment? If you and your child cook with Western Star you can win money or cooking sets. Just thought I'd mention it, as I know Rat_girl likes to cook too.
